- Desire to escape present situation
- Serious consideration of leaving the ministry

What is a Stress in the Ministry Conference?
a safe place for you and your spouse |
a time of restoration, refreshing and renewal |
a new perspective |
a time of stretching |
a time and place to resolve the real issues that are at the heart of your distress |
a life-changing experience |
It is not an ordinary stress management conference. We show you how to resolve your distress God's way, not just manage it.
For a small taste of what one of our conferences is like, listen to a word of personal testimony from one participant.
These conferences are designed as a two-pronged effort. One prong is to rescue those in burnout and the second prong is to provide tools for those who are not in burnout to avoid it.
These conferences are offered several times throughout the year at a comfortable, relaxing location. The size of the conferences is limited to ten couples. They are offered to ministers and spouses at no cost.
"When I think about where Gary and I were with the ministry this time last year and where we are now, I am so very thankful we were able to come to Houston. He is a completely different pastor. Our marriage was good but is so much stronger and friendlier... we are better parents, I am a better teacher, we are better children... We are much better at helping each other process the little and big things that happen to us and relate them to the truth..."
